Blog BUZZ on Fit Quickies™ Targeted Body Shapers!

Lise @ 2:50 pm

Yay, new Fit Quickies! I love, love #1 but also #4. I’m developing a relationship

with Topless Muffins, too. I can see and feel a difference at my waist.

Are the new ones going to be up in a few days?

Can’t wait!

Lise

Lani @ 2:54 pm

Hey Lise, so glad you’re a fan of the FQ and thanks for getting the contest off to such a quick start.

We’re working today on final movie edits (note there are NEW video features with these 3 new FQs!) and my goal is to have these ready for release this week. Keep your fingers crossed!

Lani

Pat @ 3:16 pm

Hmmm Lise I am very similar! FQ1 and FQ4 are favorites. For me FQ1 wins. I like FQ1 – flat belly – because you can do it anywhere. I start the morning with it, I end the day with it, I almost always start my meditations with it (pulling the belly button into the navel, getting rid of all the air in my lungs, when I am bored while driving I do it. If I’m on the phone and a client is talking to me and I start to space out, I do it. I also like FQ4 because it reminds me of Pigeon, my favorite yoga posture and I love all the stretching in the hips and seat that you get from it, not to mention the waist.

Becky Grady @ 3:18 pm

Topless Muffins is exactly what I need! Thanks for all the great information. I love the idea of doing a few moves throughout the day. I am starting to see a difference.

Paym @ 3:19 pm

Lani – you are totally nuts – and I love it!!!

My fav FQ – #3 – because of the results – as you know I have been doing this one in some shape or form for a long time now, and I have increased mobility in my shoulders now, along with shaping and strength.

I can’t wait to properly do FQ #7 and 8, but especially 7.

And what I like best?? I can’t believe how good I feel after an FQ workout, in a short time. In fact, I’m getting to the point that I just don’t feel right if I don’t do some FQ’s every day!! And even better – I can do them ANYWHERE. AND now you have added in VIDEO Practice!!

oops, I thought we had to answer all three!

Now, when will they be available??? I’m gettin’ really anxious here….

jainnie @ 3:23 pm

I love 7 seconds to a flat belly because I can do it at any time. I would LOVE to try out the other fit quickies!

Phyllis @ 3:25 pm

My Fit Quickie Favorite to date is 7 seconds to a flat tummy. Why? because I’ve seen RESULTS and it’s quick and easy to do.

I am eagerly awaiting ALL of the new FQ’s because I get excited about haveing new tools in my fitness toolbox.

2 things I like best about FQ’s are — they are QUICK. No excuses on time with FQ’s. They are TARGETED. You can put together a mini workout with them to target problem areas. You feel good when you’ve completed FQ’s!

Andrea @ 3:41 pm

My favorite? I guess Flat Belly gets the frequency prize, but I’m also partial to the #3 triceps, because it was so revelatory when I started doing it. (I thought I was keeping my arm straight!) Hard to say which one I’m most looking forward to, but I have a soft spot for Kickstand Curls; and what I most like about FQs is that they’re specific and targetted.

Janice C @ 3:53 pm

My favorites are Fit Quickie 1-2. I am beginning to see results from using daily. I have it memorized so do them when watching t.v.or traveling.
Looking forward to 6-7-8.
Janice

Val @ 3:57 pm

#1. I LOVE FQ1! I’m a shallow breather and the deep breathing leaves me feeling exhilarated. Plus, the stronger I get, the more muscles I can engage.

#2. FQ6 Thigh Warriors would be my pick. I’ve got lower thigh issues that FQ6 would address.

#3. #1 thing I like about FQ’s are that they ARE quick! Each one takes just minutes. #2 thing I like is that they’re not tied to a routine, but can be done separately interspersed throughout the day. This is especially valuable when traveling on business or on vacation.

That’s it for me!

Val

Linda @ 4:19 pm

Wow, I just got the 5 Fit Quickies a couple days ago and here come the next 3. Yay!

I’m most looking forward to the Hot Seat.

My favorite so far is the 7 second flat belly.

Lani you are so cute in the video above talking to us laying on your belly lol

Rachelle @ 4:22 pm

Fit Quickie #7: Kickstand Curls: (for flatter abs and waist cinching) is calling my name! My worst area and the one I hate to work the most. So a “quickie” would be the perfect solution.

Angela @ 4:22 pm

Lani,
I love Topless muffins, and am really looking forward to Thigh Warriors.
I like that I feel like I am in control of my workout…I get to choose these little 3 minute segments….and they are the Best of the Best….There is NO Wasted movements….everything is honed down to the “get quick results”…
(like I always look for the Best Alfalfa, the best workout pants and shoes that will last for years — Always the best….I’m at a phase in my life, that I don’t have time to dawdle…I’m looking for efficency!)

April @ 4:26 pm

I’m looking forward to #7, sounds like fun and painful…I mean challenging.

Cathy B @ 4:29 pm

Well, i definitely need the new thigh warriors quickies… and even more so, would be nice to have one for those awful old “batwings”!!(shhhhh!!! I live in the south, so we have summer all year round and its so disheartening to walk in sleeveless at present….. (Thanks Lani for the opp to win them!)

jenniferT @ 4:50 pm

how exciting! My favorite has gotta be between #1 and #3. Love #1 because it can be done anywhere at all – I do it in the car most of the time. Love #3 because of the burn!

Laurel Nelson @ 4:55 pm

Can’t decide between two of my favorites, so I’ll say both FQ #1 because I can do it anytime, anywhere; and FQ #3 because sometimes my arms keep swinging when they should have stopped. I LOVE that I am seeing results.

I am eagerly awaiting FQ #8 because my “seat” is falling south.
Laurel

Grayce @ 5:01 pm

My favorite Fit Quickie is number three – tri-cept – I think they are great – I love the way my upper arms feel and the added strength I’ve gained from it.

I think the one I’m looking forward to the most is FQ # 7 – I do enjoy the inner thigh squeeze, so I think this one will simply complement that.

I love the FQ’s because they are just that – fit, and quick – I can do them anywhere I want, even in the bathroom at the University – (#1) – looking forward to the new set!

Verna @ 5:29 pm

Please enter me in your contest. I have been practicing #1, now if this makes my fat tummy go away, I’ll be a happy camper. Since the rest of me
can use a little help, a win would be nice — thanks

Janet @ 5:40 pm

Definitely Fit Quickie #6 Thigh Warriors – these almost 61 year old thighs need some major toning!

jenniferlakshmi @ 5:43 pm

My favorite Fit Quickies are #2 and #3 because I can see the difference in my inner thighs and arms since I began to incorporate them. In addition, I really like #6 because while doing Thigh Warriors I feel such an intense burn in my thighs that I know it’s working!

tricia johnston @ 5:45 pm

Hi lani! thanks for this opportunity! I love my quickie #3- my arms need a lot of help! I downloaded the training portion, listened right away and immediately I realized what it feels like to really engage the right muscles from your description! No wonder they’re flabby! But now.. already feeling improvement. So- I love these quickies because they are just that- quick, but I can do as many reps as I feel up for. also- just easily accessed via i-tunes, so very fast to pop right into when I see I have 15 minute to myself.
most looking forward to the thigh quickie- what a tough area! and I live in Florida- so we hardly ever get a break from shorts.
Thanks so much Lani- eagerly awaiting more! tricia johnston

Angela @ 5:52 pm

Hi!

My favorite so far is the Topless Muffins – but there isn’t a single one that I don’t like!! It is easy to see ourselves in the mirror from the front – but sometimes that back view is scary, and I like knowing that I’m working to make the rear view of me isn’t scaring people! LOL!!

Let’s see, my favorite of the newest collection – I’m really looking forward to the Hot Seat! Again, it seems that is a hard area for me to target, and it needs some more help to stop its southward migration.

Finally, what I like best about Fit Quickies – I love that I know they are targeted to a certain area I need to work and that they WORK! While I can fit in short exercise spurts in the day, I was just doing whatever came to mind, but not really in a focused way. This allows me to organize what I am doing and spread my time around to different areas. I also LOVE that I have some I can put on my iPod and take on vacation. With a family, heading down to the workout room is rarely possible for me. Even when we home, as a homeschooling mom it can be very hard to carve out a chunk of time to exercise. These “quickies” fit the bill – portable for travel, and do not require significant space/equipment. Sure, going to a gym would work – but I can’t do it!

I am looking forward to the release of the next three – what a wonderful idea to have guided exercises that do not require a DVD player! I admit, when I first heard about them I was very hestitant – I’ve spent money on exercise items in the past and then didn’t do them. But this has been well worth the price. I’m hoping to enroll in the Fit Deam Inner Circle sometime soon – it sounds like the perfect thing to help me reach my next level of fitness.

Thanks!

Sherry Davis @ 6:10 pm

#3. Two things I like about Fit Quickies are (1.) They are Quick to do. and (2.) They are Quick to yield results. They are Quick,Quick!

Please enter me in the contest! “>

Debbie @ 6:25 pm

I love the 7 sec. It’s fast and easy to do just about anywhere.

Patsy @ 8:41 pm

I’m anxious to try the new fit quickies. Any of them that have to do with whittling my waist are most important to me. I’m at the age where my waist has just spread so much and it’s hard to get it smaller. Thanks for your FQs.

Melissa @ 10:43 pm

I love, love, love #1 7 Seconds to a Flat Belly! I love it for so many reasons, including ease of use (anywhere, anytime!), the improvements to posture and breathing and, of course, how quickly it flattens out the belly!

The two Fit Quickies I am most excited about are #6 and #8…those are definitely the two toughest areas for me to whip into shape!

I love the Fit Quickies…they’re innovative, easy to incorporate into your day or to combine for a great shaping workout!

Thank you!

Zena Alam @ 4:02 am

Well, I’m very new to Fit Quickies and to Lani, for that matter, as I just “discovered her yesterday afternoon on Dr. McDougall’s forum. But after reading the Specoal Report and all the positive comments, I’m rrally looking forward to trying FQ #1 because everyone seems to get results and love it. The other FQ I’m most looking forward to is … all of them as I need to target every area on my body!

The question I have is if this series is also effectiive if one still has a substantial amount of weight left to lose. Or is it better when one has lost most of their excess weight and needs to firm up to complete their goal?

ThAnks!
Zena

Lani @ 6:55 am

@Zena Alam: Zena, You’re in luck# FQ #1, 7 Seconds to a Flat Belly, you can get the hang of from my YouTube video with instruction here: http://thetruthaboutfatlossforwomen.com/2008/12/21/a-flat-belly-in-7-seconds/ . An FQ1 purchase also gets you the complete audio tutorial and practice tracks, but you can see what it’s all about and learn the exercise from the video I just linked you to above.

I appreciate your question about condition and Fit Quickies. Here’s the thing: I’ve designed them so that they create a challenge to the muscles most often neglected – those that seem to lose condition the most due to the simple fact that they are not challenged enough to keep good shape – and happen to also be those most responsible for shaping the body. You know what I mean: triceps, abs, inner thighs, glutes (all of em!), back of teh waist (Muffin Tops). Challenging these muscles brings shape, strength, and grace to the body AND provide instant invigoration without putting you in compromising positions no matter what your weight.

You will LOVE the vitality that is instantly restored when you do isolation overload work, and everyone can do them because of the isolaton properties: safely position, anchor, isolate the muscles, then do your reps.

And if you are on the McDougall dietary plan you have a more than winning combination. When women combine this wonderful eating style with some muscle challenge and simple cardiovascular activity, there is no stopping you on what kind of great shape you can get in. It’s really quite simple.

I’m excited to see you popped on over here from my column at the Health and Medical Center and look forward to seeing your progress! Let me know if other questions.

Phyllis Wiley @ 7:27 am

Hi Lani, thank you for doing the contest.
I love 7 seconds to a flat belly. I’ll be 57 next month and my belly is flat and toned, who wouldn’t like it.
It is quick and targeted and I can do it anywhere.
I would someday love to own all yourFit Quickies.
Thanks.
Phyll

Melissa Gaines @ 7:39 am

Ditto to what has already been shared. I want to add that I love the FQ concept because they are simple (not easy!) yet powerful. I also love how you can incorporate them into existing routines so easily.

Thanks for the fun and generous contest, Lani!

laura @ 7:40 am

Lani-
Love #1 – flat belly; looking forward to Kickstand Curls.   Fit Quickies= convenience and EFFICIENT!
Thanks!

Gretchen Probst @ 1:40 pm

I love #1, flat belly also. And I love your names of the Fit Quickies. So fun-loving!
I’m looking forward to the new installments!

Garilyn @ 9:24 pm

I’m late as usual! But, I like the sounds of 7 & 8, though all 3 are needed areas!
