My friend and plant-strong buddy Julieanna Hever, R.D.,   has the face of an angel and a sexed-up voice always on the verge of a hearty laugh.  Combined with her enthusiasm for all things plant-based eating, Julieanna is winning minds and palates with the recent release of her book, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Plant-based Eating.

You’ll recognize Julieanna, the Plant-based Dietitian from her too-much-fun video partnership with Chef AJ (featured in the next Teleclass on Wednesday, October 26, sign up HERE>>>) in their The Chef and the Dietitian series. (“We make healthy taste delicious!!”)

And if you were anywhere near the Plant-Strong Fitness blog last summer, you may have  been lucky enough to be on the Teleclass I hosted with Julieanna as my special guest.

Where the Plant-based Dietitian meets Dr. Oz

Well, Jules is on the air again and this time it’s the Dr. Oz show.

This just in from Julieanna:

I had the opportunity to be flown to NYC and tape an episode of The Dr. Oz Show a couple of weeks ago. I am in two segments as the expert discussing a whole food, plant-based diet. We made and tasted three of the recipes from my book, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Plant-Based Nutrition, in the second segment.

It will air on Friday, October 28th at 3pm PST on ABC. Please watch it or set your DVR and please tell all your friends about it, too. I want to show the world how plant-based is mainstream and changing the world! I have attached a picture of me and Dr. Oz on the set…

Check your local listings for the Dr. Oz show. It looks like Oz has some wild antics as usual planned for Friday’s segments – if you caught the recent episode with Tim Ferriss and The Four Hour Body, you know what I mean.  Hever and Plant-based food fans, tune in.
