Rockie, who became an overnight sensation and quickly claimed fame as the plant-based fitness mascot, is now a year old. Greg has just released video #4 “Rockie IV: Ready for my close-up!”
You’ll see Rockie swinging in a hammock, leaping off tall buildings (well, off the roof of our house to human shoulders anyway), meticulously peeling the red skin off of peanuts, and even enjoying her birthday cake. Which was a bowl of peanuts, of course. Rockie is all over a plant-based diet.
Links to Rockies first 3 videos, if you missed them, follow. And if you leave a birthday greeting for Rockie below, I’ll be sure she gets it.
I must admit I’m envious of Rockie being able to eat all those peanuts and still stay trim.

Have you a birthday message you’d like me to give Rockie? She’d love to hear from you. Just leave your note in replies below and I’ll get it to her.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROCKIE!!!!
Hey Sharon! I’ll give her your special best wishes. She’s due any time to stop by on her morning rounds.
Thanks!
Absolutely adorable! I’m always teary – eyed with the Rockie videos. Thanks for posting them on your website.
Happy birthday to Rockie!
Janet
Thanks Janet – I’ll tell Rockie when she comes by today. She’s due any time now.
Happy Birthday Rockie! I threw some peanuts out on our deck in your honor so our squirrel friends can celebrate with you! 🙂
Traci, I’ll tell her. She’ll be thrilled about the peanut contribution! It was funny, yesterday she did something new. Usually she comes by, stays to play and eat for about a half hour max, and then she’s off. Yesterday she came by to eat (popped her head into my studio!), went off for 10 minutes, came back to eat some more, did it again. There were lots of other squirrels out on the playground (our deck in the forest) and I guess there were just so many things to do!
Happy 1st Birthday Rockie!!! My kitty Mia and I love watching you on the big screen. Mia especially loves your close-ups.
Sue xo
Sue, really? That is so adorable! Squeaks from Rockie to Mia!
Yes, true. I will confide that I suspect her thoughts are not of the best intentioned, {ouch}. But I like to live in a rose coloured Disney world where all the aniamals love each other. 🙂
Happy Birthday, Rockie! You are a beautiful squirrel and so lucky to have such good friends.
Sherry
Hi Sherry! I’m so glad you are enjoying Rockie’s updates! Yes, she certainly is popular!
