OK, I’m gonna make this fun.
Fit Quickies are something NEW for you from yours truly for 2010.
And rather than just tell you what they are, why not have the opportunity to tell me what YOU think they are?
And then give out a prize to best guesser.

FQ or Fit Quickies is a Lani special exercise that can be completed quickly but that produces great results by helping to tone a specific muscle or group of muscles. These exercises are usually easy to sneak in during the course of the day. In this case the amount of time spent on the exercise DOES NOT EQUAL the results achieved!
A fit quickie is an exercise that works one particular troubled spot, like the bat wings under the arms. You give some form pointers and they can be done in just a few minutes.
Both Asha and Linda gave a great description of my idea of what a Fitness Quickie is. My favorite Fitness Quickie is called the “Pretzel” from the Bar Method. Great for the Bottom Line!

Let me see –FIT QUICKIES could be exercise that can be done throughout the day. Maybe they can be done anywhere — in the car, walking, even in line to keep our focus on fitness and not how irritated we may be while waiting for our turn. I think they might even work by us using our mind by making us really focus. Don’t know but am looking forward to finding out!! Am just soooo excited (as my grandson says)
A “fit quickie” is an exercise that can be done in a minute or two anytime, anywhere (like the kitchen table, the shower, the – JK!!!! Couldn’t pass up the word “quickie”.) Can’t wait to find out what you have in store Lani!
I think of getting up during a commercial and doing 10 jumping jacks or burpees, or a set of kegels while sitting in traffic.

FQ’s could be mindful movement fit in through out the day while waiting in line, sitting in traffic (curl, ribs up, breathe deep) toss in a few kegels at a red light, or making sure to excuse oneself shortly after a meal for some HD’s (even at a restaurant:)
